Visitation will begin on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Tony passed away on November 16, 2021. He was born in Jacksonville on February 15, 1949. His passion was motorcycles whether it was riding, working, sitting or just looking at them. He enjoyed watching Westerns and war movies. He was a huge football fan and his favorite team was the Pittsburg Steelers. Most of all, "Papaw" adored his grandchildren and enjoyed being involved in their lives by attending school and sporting events.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Sexton; brother, Sam Sexton; and best friend, Brian Snoke.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Udell Sexton of Jacksonville; son, T.J. Sexton and wife Tara of Jacksonville; goddaughter, Alex Anderson and husband Matt of Overton; and sister, Susan Allbright and husband Charles of Jacksonville. He is also survived by his grandchildren Makenzie Lynn, Makenzie Dell, Kelsey Lee and Kaden Wayne; and nephews, Chris Allbright and Bryan Duncan and wife Paula.
Pallbearers will be Matt Anderson, Dillon Duke, Cory Hicks, Lyston Lemay, Paul Gould and Mason Brashear. His many lifelong friends will be honorary pallbearers.
Rather than customary condolences, memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd., Tyler, Texas 75701.
