Paul D. Hindman, 56, of Walkchalk, East Franklin, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at his residence. He was born Oct. 8, 1951, son of Sarah D. (Shaffer) Hindman, of Kittanning, and the late Paul A. Hindman. He retired from the Navy, where he was a nuclear reactor operator and an electronics technician. Over the years, he attended Salem Baptist Church and Victory Baptist Church, both in Kittanning. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Veronica Petras, of Molino, Fla.; a nephew, Travis Petras, of Molino, Fla.; a great-niece; and two great-nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Jason Paul Petras. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, in Worthington, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with his cousin, Robert Hindman, officiating. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
