Brenda Kay Sloan, 58, of Aurora, IL, passed away peacefully at home on November 9, 2021. She was born on March 8, 1963 the daughter of Garland and Sally (Carlson) Sloan in Aurora, IL. Brenda was an amazing person – caring, loving, funny, sweet and just an overall beautiful soul. Her love of family and cooking collided with her ability to whip together large batches of food at the drop of a hat to make sure no one left hungry – trust us, it would never happen. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Garland Sloan and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Please join the family for the visitation between the hours of 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 13th at The Healy Chapel, 332 West Downer Place, Aurora, IL 60506.
