Obituary in Choctaw Nation Biskinik:

Born: 7/25/1945
Died: 4/27/2018
Maiden Name: Robison
A journey on Earth that began July 25, 1945, in Mena, Arkansas for Sandra Brown ended on the morning of April 27, 2018, at Riverbend Hospital in Springfield, Oregon. She was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, and friend to many who will be greatly missed.

Sandra is survived by husband Gene, sons Brandon, (Tara) and Jeb and two very precious grandgirls, Gracie and Abigail.

Early in her life, Sandra moved to Idaho with her parents, Helen and Ray Robison and her sister Cholla. Both parents and sister preceded her to a life of eternity.

She attended schools in Boise and was currently enrolled at Boise State University when Gene came along in May of 1963. They married on September 12, 1964.

Sandra's career was spent working for the State of Idaho when she and Gene relocated to Cottage Grove. Shortly after, Sandra began a new, much more rewarding career working part-time at the Cottage Grove Veterinary Clinic where she so easily satisfied her love for animals. Her sudden illness forced retirement from there just recently.

Sandra's unfaltering belief in God and her love for our Lord Jesus Christ helped her through the difficult times in her life as a wife and mother; her passing words to her son Brandon were to ask him if he had been saved. When Brandon answered, "Yes, mam, I've been saved," she replied, "That's good, I can go now."

In lieu of flowers, Sandra would probably rather you check the air pressure in your car tires or contribute to a cause of your choosing. Per Sandra's request, no services are planned at this time.
