Anthony French, 53, of Swanton, Ohio passed away suddenly on July 22, 2016. Born January 31, 1963, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of Stephen and Carol French. He was a graduate of Springfield High School and served in the United States Air Force for 10 years. He was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm.

Tony served as a patrolman with the Toledo Police Department for 19 years, retiring in 2011. He was employed by the Veteran's Administration as a medical support assistant.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen, and brother, James. Tony is survived by his wife of 34 years, Susan; sons, Anthony Jr. (Sayo), Vincent (Courtney); siblings, Martin (Anne) French, Marie (Steve) Polyasko, David (Julie) French and Steve (Christine) French; his many nieces, nephews; and one great-nephew.

Family and Friends are invited to celebrate his life at Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., Thursday, July 28, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Friday, July 29, at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
