Raymond E. Beckett, 49, manager of the efficiency department at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. plant in St. Mary's OH died at Memorial Hospital on December 30, 1953 after an 18-month illness. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; his mother Mrs. O.E. Beckett of Akron OH; sons, James of St Mary's, Paul and Jack at home, Don a student at Heidelberg College at Tiffin OH; daughters, Dorothy, Pat and Janet at home and Helen a student nurse at Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing in Dayton OH; two grandchildren; brothers C.F. of San Angelo TX, W.D. and Joseph of Akron and one sister, Mrs. O.O. Culbertson of Akron. Mr. Beckett had been a resident of St Mary's since 1942 when he was transferred to the Goodyear plant. He was a member of St. Paul's E&R Church
