William Jennings Curry, 83, resident of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on October 16, 2021. William was born in Ohley, West Virginia to Harry Bernard and Louie Burr (Cassell) Curry on July 1, 1938. He married the love of his life, Sheila (Cooper) Curry, on March 1, 1957 in West Virginia.
William was a meat cutter with Kroger for 30+ years and later worked for Wayne Township Schools (Sanders School) for 20 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. William enjoyed spending time with his family. Bill didn't know a stranger.
William is preceded in death by his parents; Harry Bernard and Louie Burr (Cassell) Curry; siblings Belva Susan Williams, Norma Ellen Chapman, Almada Louise Eades, Leonard Bernard Curry, Clara Lee Akers, Harry Melvin Curry, Charles Hunter "Tom" Curry, Cleo Ida Canterbury, and Alice Jean Looman.
William is survived by his wife Sheila (Cooper) Curry; children Cathy (Curry) and Thomas Plummer, Trisha (Curry) and Bradley Thompson, and Jacob Curry; siblings Janet Howard and John Roger Curry ; grandchildren Clint (Jessica) Plummer, Caitlyn (Justin) Jones, Lindsey Thompson, and Kayleigh Thompson; great-grandchildren Ryder Petree, Brett Plummer, Shelby Plummer, Brianna Jones, Willow Jones, and Finley Jones.
