Gloria enjoyed traveling and went on many memorable semi rides throughout the United States. She even picked up her favorite quote while on those trips, "10-4". Gloria especially loved animals and had a horse named "Red" and a pet raccoon named "Scotty" who she raised from birth. She also liked Harley Davidson motorcycles, playing word searches, and taking drives through Elwood simply to check in on friends and family. Gloria never met a stranger and talked to everyone she met. More than anything, Gloria loved her family and always kept a fun, carefree spirit.
Gloria's family includes two sisters, Jennie (husband Randall) Doan of Elwood and Vicky Takacs of Elwood; 5 nieces and nephews, Kelly Beeman (Laura Simpson), Patricia (husband Doug) Dillow, Chad Doan, Michael (wife Danielle) Doan, and Eric (wife Lisa) Doan; several great-nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Jerry Jones.
Gloria's wishes were to be cremated. Burial will take place at a later date in the Elwood City Cemetery. Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in honored to handle Gloria's arrangements.
