Mr. Cobb was born in Acushnet, son of the late Sherman F. Cobb, Sr. and the late Laura (Faria) Cobb and had resided in Westport for over 30 years with his wife Marilyn before relocating to New Bedford. A veteran of the Korean War, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed watching golf and traveling to Maine and Florida. Most of all, he loved spending time with family.
Survivors include his step-son: Paul Montigny and his wife Sandra of Westport; three step-daughters: Donna Sanborn of ME, Diane Ras and Joanne Correia, both of Westport; 11 grandchildren; along with many great grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Lee Cobb, Gary Cobb and Deborah Arny and brother of the late Ruth Correia.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, November 19, 2021 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Westport.
