Robert Kay "Bob" Pike, 82, of rural Belding, was called home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ, Thursday morning, November 11, 2021, at University of Michigan West Hospital in Grand Rapids. Bob was born to Curtis and Dorothy (Runyon) Pike on the family farm on December 13, 1938, in Mesick, Michigan. He graduated from Mesick High School in 1957 and later graduated from Michigan State University in 1964 with a degree in dairy science. Bob married Luella Darleen Bolthouse on September 12, 1964, in Clarksville. After marriage, he joined his father-in-law, Brink Bolthouse, as a farmer. Bob had a deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ and sought to serve Him in all he did. He was a member of the Gideons International and Ashley Baptist Church, Belding. He was also a former trustee on the Otisco Township Board. Bob had a love of people and was always willing to help a friend or neighbor in need. The Christian values he held were a guiding light to his children, grandchildren, friends, and neighbors. He will be greatly missed and always remembered with a smile by his family and friends.

Robert is loved and survived by his wife Luella and their children Schuyler (Gabriela) Pike of Big Rapids, Desmond (Pamela) Pike of Belding, Quentin (Valerie) Pike of Cedar Springs, and Delbert (Amy) Pike of Belding; grandchildren Charissa (Aaron) Nichoson, Katrina Pike, Quade (Chloe) Pike, Cameron Pike, Kayleigh Pike, Colton Pike, Grace Pike, Seth "Bear" Pike, Rosalyn Pike, William Pike, and EllaAnne Pike; his siblings Marie Bates of MS, Larry Pike of FL, Ben (Janice) Pike of Manton, Russ Pike of Bay City, his sisters-in-law Joanne Pike of FL, and Barbara Pike of Fruitport. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws Brink and Doris Bolthouse; his brothers Keith Pike, Gail Pike, Bruce Pike, his brother-in-law Larry Bates, and his sisters-in-law Donna Pike, Beverly Pike and Joan Pike.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Ashley Baptist Church, Belding with Pastor David A. Oliver officiating. Graveside services will follow in Otisco Township Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 PM at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Visitation will also be one hour before the funeral at the church. Memorials may be given to Ashley Baptist Church or Gideons International.
