Judith "Judi" A. Bishop, 80, Marion, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021, at Marion Health in Marion. Born in Marion, Indiana, on Friday, January 10, 1941, Judi was the daughter of Everett and Betty (Reesch) Stewart. On September 21, 1963, she married William "Bill" Bishop, and he preceded her in death in 2004.

Judith graduated from Marion High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Ball State University. She worked as a surgical nurse with Marion General Hospital. Judi enjoyed playing Bridge, reading, game shows, coloring books, knitting, and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed going to and supporting the Hostess House. She especially loved her cats.

Survivors include her son, Bart Bishop of West Lafayette; daughter, Angela Lobdell of Marion; five grandchildren, Victoria (Jose) Lobdell of Marion, Garion (Aubrionna) Lobdell of Marion, Ellie Bishop of West Lafayette, Owen Pierce of West Lafayette, and Ian Bishop; and five great-grandchildren, Jose Gonzales, Jr., Andrew Gonzales, Gabriel Gonzales, Remington Lobdell, and Ameira Lobdell.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

A service to celebrate Judi's life was held on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN., with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial took place at Grant Memorial Park.
