Betty Jo Campbell, 91, of Zanesville, passed away early Fri. Nov. 5, 2021 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room. She was born on Jan. 22, 1930 in Sumerco, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Vina and Ken McCormick. She is survived by one daughter Jackie Hoover of Zanesville. One brother Delmar (Betty) McCormick of Deavertown. One granddaughter Christine (Mitchell) Bailes of Byhalia, Mississippi. Three great-granddaughters Kelly and Tonya of Memphis, Tennessee and Tosha of Washington, DC. Nine great-greatgrandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by one very special friend Allison Rose who spent much time with her and brought her much happiness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years John W. Campbell, her parents Vina and Ken McCormick, five brothers Clyde, Harold, Buster, Tom and William (Mink) McCormick. Betty was an avid quilter and taught classes all over Zanesville and Newark. She volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital and was a lifetime member of the Pieceable Quilters Guild of Zanesville. She will be sadly missed.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Sun. Nov. 7, 2021 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Mon. Nov. 8, 2021 with Rev. Mark Shoemaker officiating. Burial will be in Mount Perry Cemetery.
