Son of Nathaniel Geurin and Abygail Conger. He married at least twice. His first wife's maiden is not know but it's quiet obvious her given name is Martha Jane as nearly every child of the couple has a daughter name Martha Jane!!! He married in Rhea County the widow David Richardson, Jensey Jacobs 12 March 1830, Rhea County, Tennessee. Children with his first wife - Catherine Geurin Dixon (John), Levi M. Geurin, Jacob C. Geurin, Abygail Geurin Ray (Jacob), Martha Jane Geurin Dunn (James), Susan Geurin Merriott (James William Merriott), Jane Geurin Merriott (John Henry Merriott, Mary Geurin Montgomery (Joseph), and Alexander Geurin. His children with second wife Jinsey Jacobs - Jonas Geurin, Sarah E. Geurin Neel (Burton), and Mary Geurin born 1839, died 1850.
