A Celebration of Life for Melody Lane Toole Curtis, 51, will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home. Brother H. Gene Toole and Pastor Scott Bowman will officiate. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
A Frankfort native she was the owner and operator of Juanita M. Toole Court Reporters. She loved Jesus and was a member and very active in the New Harvest Assembly of God. She was also a member of Kentucky Court Reporters Association, National Court Reporters Association, and Friends of Frankfort- Pay it Forward.
She enjoyed riding and showing horses, camping, hunting and fishing with family, shopping and couponing, needle and cross stitch, and most importantly spending time with family. She graduated high school in 1984 from Western Hills High School. She died unexpectedly, Wednesday at her residence.
Survivors include her loving husband of thirty-two; Jasper Lee Curtis, Jr., Frankfort, father' Garry Toole (Joyce Boone), Frankfort, mother; Patricia Shepherd, Frankfort, three children; Chris Scott Curtis (Brittany Williams), Frankfort, Rusty Lee Curtis (Felicia K.), Frankfort, Felicia Gail Curtis (Ephraim Doran Fields), Frankfort, grandchildren; Aizik Vincent Delgado, Mary-Ann Yvonne Swan, Christopher Anthony Curtis, Jayla Marie Lane Schiltz, Logan Kamari Fields, Landon Josiah Fields, Jackson Lee Wyatt Curtis, Kaylee Rose Curtis, Elysa Louise Curtis, siblings; Mark Lee Toole, Michael Gene Toole, and several aunts and uncles.
