On Sunday, November 14, 2021, in Tyler Tx, Roger Wilson peacefully entered Heaven to be reunited with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and his precious daughter Christi Dawn. Roger was born June 26, 1949, in Ellis County to Jonas Murphy Wilson and Rhoda White Wilson.
Roger was a resident of Lindale Tx. He retired from Kelly Springfield after 38 years of loyal service. He was most proud of his children Roger Wilson Jr., Christi Dawn Wilson, and his grandsons Evan and Ethan Wilson.
Roger was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Christi Dawn Wilson; wife, Wanda Wilson; parents, Jonas and Rhoda Wilson; brothers, Bill Wilson, James Wilson, Leon Wilson, Jimmy Wilson; and sisters, Sara Jo Pritchett, and Ruth Judge.
He is survived by his companion and friend, Lynda Page; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Kim Wilson; grandchildren, Evan and Zoe Wilson and Ethan Wilson; siblings, Kathy Bennett, Linda Hughes, Larry and his spouse Carlotta Wilson; as well as many loved nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Graveside services for Roger will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery in Tyler with Pastor Darryl Crawford officiating under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the funeral home.
