GOSHEN, IN. -- Linda Sue Elliott, 82, of Goshen, died Friday November 12, 2021, at home peacefully with her loving family surrounding her. She was born August 29, 1939, in Wyatt, Indiana to Milo and Agnes (Potts) Clark.
She married Lawrence Schiltz, who preceded her in death on December 21, 1973. She then married Bud Elliott, who preceded her in death on September 29, 2009. Surviving are 3 children, Shawn (Michelle Dean) Schiltz of Goshen, IN, Lorinda S. Schiltz of Goshen, IN, Cody Elliott of Goshen, IN; 5 grandchildren, Lawrence Crain, Melissa Fisher, Amber Schiltz, Steven Elliott, Airianah Pierce and 11 great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include a sister, Cheryl (Harley) Huff of Osceola, IN and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death also by her parents, and 3 brothers, Jerry, Gene, and Mike Clark.
Linda graduated from Madison High School in 1958 and was a life member of the Women of the Moose and the Ladies Auxiliary of the DAV and the VFW. She enjoyed bowling, playing poker, doing crafts, cooking and was a huge NASCAR fan. Linda worked for many years in the RV Industry and worked for Electromation.
Funeral services for Linda will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday November 19, 2021, at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Officiating will be Katie Braun who is also a friend of the family. Friends may visit with the family for 2 hours prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in Rice Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart.
