Doris was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and received an Associate's Degree in Computer Science.
She worked for several companies as an Administrative Assistant. She served as a pastor's wife at Double Springs Baptist Church, Pacolet Baptist Church, and Mills Gap Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Russel and his wife Carolyn Henderson of Zirconia and Adam and his wife Anna Henderson of Canton, NC; grandchildren, Capt. Zachary and his wife Kinsley Henderson of Ft. Beale Air Force Base, CA., Haley, Holly, and Heath Henderson, all of Canton; sisters Martha Bradley of Tuxedo and Betsy Jackson of Hendersonville; brothers Harold and his wife Margo Morgan of Zirconia and Darrell Morgan of Mountain Home.
A graveside service will be held at two o'clock pm on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with Dr. Darrin Waldroup officiating.
