Charles "Chuck" Allen Cox, age 62 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away from this life to begin his eternal life in Heaven on November 13, 2021. Chuck was born in Knoxville, Tennessee to Albert and Mary Sue Cox on April 27, 1959. At his time of passing, Mr. Cox was a Daycare Provider, operating a successful daycare center along with his wife, Marilyn. He was also an active member of the Central Church of Christ in Moore, Oklahoma.

Chuck spent his youth in Knoxville, and after graduating high school, he heard his nation's call and proudly joined the United States Army, honorably serving for 12 years. This career path allowed him to travel all over the United States, and beyond. He was incredibly outgoing and made friends wherever he went. He loved talking to people, and Chuck's terrific smile, and sincere, distinct laugh always made everyone in his life feel warm and welcome. His positive disposition earned him quite a bit of friends over the years. He was an avid sports fan, and on game days, he always rooted for his favorite teams - the Tennessee Vols, the Atlanta Braves, The OKC Thunder, and the Tennessee Titans. His Tennessee roots were always a part of who he was at his core – this was evident in his orange everything - and he often donned orange clothing to show off his home-state pride.

More than anything, Chuck absolutely adored his family. He had a very loving relationship with his wife, and they did everything together, including running their daycare center. The babies under their care loved Chuck, always taking to his "Papa Bear" personality. Chuck and Marilyn leapt on any opportunity they had to travel, and they particularly loved going to beachy destinations for their vacations. Chuck's caring, generous heart touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply and forever missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Edemann, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents.
