Marjorie Hope Martin (nee Mandeville) was born on February 7, 1931, in Detroit, MI. She was raised in Detroit, MI and was a graduate of Northwestern High School. She married her one and only love, Bryan Martin. They raised their family in Michigan, but most recently, has been a resident of Avon, OH. She passed away peacefully on November 12, 2021 after a brief battle with Covid.

While raising her children, she worked as a custodian at Temple Christian School in Redford, MI. She also worked at Great Lakes Trucking in Detroit when she was younger. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Redford, MI now Northridge in Plymouth, MI and a longtime resident of Baptist Park Manor in Farmington Hills, MI. Marjorie had a great sense of humor and loved to be surrounded by family and friends. She enjoyed going to church, reading, bowling, watching the Family Feud and chocolate ice cream. Sharing a meal with others was one of her favorite pastimes. She was a woman of great faith, and her family is comforted knowing she is with the Lord.

Marjorie will be dearly missed by her loving family; daughters, Karen Martin and Jill Virga (Santo); six grandchildren, Jason, Melody (David), Matthew, Ashley, Megan, and Joshua; great grandchildren Reid, Adam and Noah; siblings, Lester, Jean, Muriel, Millie, Shirley, Mary Lou, Nancy and Sandy; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded by her beloved husband Bryan; dear son, Thomas; parents, Lester and Eleanor Mandeville and step mother Laura Mandeville; and siblings, Jerry and Joyce.
