He was born Oct. 9, 1954, in Syracuse, to Robert L. and Ruth Hoyt Dunn.
A resident of Larned for the past 25 years, he moved from Greensburg. He was a social worker at the Larned Juvenile Correctional Facility.
Mr. Dunn was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Larned, Quails Unlimited, Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever.
Survivors include his mother, Syracuse; a son, Evan Dunn, of the home; a daughter, Adie Dunn, of the home; and two sisters, Lori Amerin, Johnson City, and Macel Caplinger, Larned.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral Mass was to be at 10:30 a.m. today at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with the Rev. Bernard Felix presiding.
Vigil service was Thursday, with Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. MST Saturday at the Syracuse Cemetery in Syracuse.
