Vivian "Louise" Bryant, age 84, of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with her heavenly father on Monday, November 15, 2021 after a short stay at Tennova North Hospital. As a devoted Christian, Louise dedicated her life to God, family and home. She was a member of Union Baptist Church, Knoxville. While she worked as a Pharmacy Technician for many years, her heart was always in creating a loving home for her family. Louise enjoyed jewelry making, puzzles and board games. She was known for her love of the game, Scrabble, and was usually the winner every time.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Orville C. Thompson and Delores I. Lucas Thompson; her dear husband of 63 years, Eugene E. Bryant; brothers, Fredrick, Emory and Spencer Thompson.
She is survived by two daughters, Debra "Debbie" (Robbie) Robinson and Melody (Bob) Priest; five grandchildren, Dare "Wes" (Talia) Robinson, Janeane Robinson, Chelsea Robinson, Gene (Brittany) Priest, Megan Priest and Zach Clanton; three great grandchildren, Willow, Eva and Lyric; brother, Alfred (Betty) Thompson; sister-in-law, Linda (Curtis) Bratcher; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Union Baptist Church, 6701 Washington Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918 on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 2:00pm. Family will receive friends after the service until 4:00pm.
