Christopher Martin Lawrence, 44, died on November 12, 2021 at his home in Buffalo. He was born in Rochester and raised in Williamsville. He began working at age 14 and later held jobs at Erie County Holding Center, Wende Correctional Facility in Alden, Erie County Medical Center, and Buffalo Psychiatric Center. He earned degrees from Erie Community College and Buffalo State College. He is survived by his mother, Jane; his sisters, Amy and Sarah; aunts, uncles, and cousins; a group of loyal friends who stayed in touch since childhood; and his beloved dogs, Lacey and Scrappy. He was predeceased by his father, William.
