Charles W. Crawford, 87, of Columbia, MO passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Lenoir Woods. Graveside service will be 10:00 am, Friday, November 12, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 1217 Business Loop 70 West, Columbia.

Charles was born June 24, 1934 in Shelbina, MO to Bryan and Eula Ray (Dickson) Crawford. After high school he attended NE Missouri State Teacher's College in Kirksville, MO. He was a detail-oriented person, and deeply dedicated to his family. He spent his entire career working for the University of Missouri, and finished his time there as a capital investor in the Treasurer's office. He was a skilled craftsman; creating beautiful stained glass pieces, handmade furniture and grandfather clocks. He married Phyllis Sumner in 1982, and they have spent their marriage deeply devoted to each other.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Crawford; her daughters, Teresa (Roy) Powers, Becky (Spence) Carlson, & Lori (Kevin) Ellis; and his nephews, Jerry (Lisa) Ward & Kevin (Cindy) Ward. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joan C. Ward of Jefferson City.
