The death took place at the Berlin-Waterloo Hospital on Monday of Louisa Maahs, daughter of Mrs. Fred Kaiser, corner of Herbert and Union streets, Waterloo. Deceased had been ill for three weeks and was taken to the Hospital on Sunday afternoon. She was in her seventeenth year. A mother, three sisters, one brother survive, another brother, Herman, died three months ago.
The funeral will take place on Thursday, Jan. 1st. from the late residence to St. John's Lutheran Church for service thence to Mount Hope Cemetery for interment.
