DELBARTON, W.Va. — Maxine Evans, 63 of Delbarton, passed away Sun., Sept. 28, 2014, at Appalachian Regional Hospital in South Williamson, Ky.
Born May 19, 1951, at Williamson, she was a daughter of the late Rell and Sylvia Parker Crigger. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Ralph, Roger Dale and Rell Jr., and sister, Lorraine Robertson.
Maxine was a homemaker and a member of the Big Sandy Community Church in Inez, Ky. She was a retired school bus drive having worked more than 22 years.
Those left behind to cherish her memories include her husband of 44 years, Patterson Evans; daughter, Miranda Evans, and soon to be son-in-law, Cody Ball; sisters, Charlene Crum, Sue Swackhamer and Myrtle Thomas, and granddaughter, Mia Ball. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wed., Oct. 1, at Chafin Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the Farley Cemetery at Delbarton.
Visitation will be at the funeral home chapel Tuesday evening from 6-9 p.m.
