Memorial Per Newspapers.com Obituary in The Atlanta Constitution, Atlanta, Ga., Saturday, April 8, 1950 -EDWARD OXFORD, CLOTHIER, DIES - Edward B. Oxford, Sr., died yesterday at his residence, 607 Morningside Drive, N.E., after a short illness. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 P.M., today at Spring Hill, Dr. John Richardson will officiate and burial will be in West View Cemetery. Mr. Oxford was a salesman at Parks-Chambers, Inc. A native of Griffin, he had lived in Atlanta most of his life. He was a Mason, a Shriner, and a member of Grace Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, a daughter, Miss Harriett Oxford; a son, Edward B. Oxford, Jr.; four sisters, Mrs. Reuben Jones, Mrs. S. H. Wilson, Mrs. L. O. Strickland, and Mrs. Sarah Curtis, and a brother, A. C. Oxford.
