Brenda was born in Geneva on June 16, 1962, to the late Charlie and Gloria Holmes. She worked at Phillips Van Heusen in Geneva for nearly twenty years. Most recently, she was employed at Delt Express in Samson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Holmes.
She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Rodgers of Chancellor; two sons, Johnathan Rodgers (Sarah) of Enterprise, and Jason Rodgers of Coffee Springs; daughter, Mandy Lopez of Sellersville; eleven grandchildren, Cally Rodgers, Zachary Rodgers, Jakob Holmes, Hailey Rodgers, Nadia Holmes, Bre Simmons, Kelsey Rodgers, Liam Rodgers, Leyla Rodgers, Presley Guyette, and Amelia Rodgers; and three brothers, Raymond Holmes (Renee) of Samson, Ronald Holmes of Snellville, GA, and Alferd Holmes (Stephanie) of Chancellor.
