David Alonzo Shelton age 69 of Loudon passed away Friday, November 12, 2021.

David was an avid coon hunter who also loved fishing and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Odessa Shelton; sister, Kathleen Vaughn, and brother, J. D. Shelton.

He is survived by his wife, Flossie Shelton; sons, David Shelton and Robert Shelton (Elaine); daughter, Sharon Shelton; grandchildren: Skyler Ingram, Mara Shelton, Lauren Shelton, and Wade Shelton; sister, Joyce Mitchell; brother, Kenneth Shelton; sisters-in-law, Mary Moats and Edna Bryant (Ray); brothers-in-law, Franklin Moats, John Kellar and Charles Kellar; several nieces and nephews and longtime friend, Clifford Miller.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 15th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Kenny Palmer officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday and proceed to the Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services at 1 p.m.
