Bill was a tender -hearted person who had a profound love for bluegrass, playing cards and watching drag racing. All who knew Bill knew, his dogs were his pride and joy. His character was evident in the passion and zest he had for rescuing dogs.
Survivors include 2 sisters, Sandra Poore and Christine Pierce, both of Muncie; 1 brother, Guy Pierce, Muncie; several nieces and nephews; along with added family that includes Sharon Pierce, Evonda Pierce, and James True.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Clyde, Jr., Walter and David Pierce; 1 sister, Jessie Pierce.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie. Parson Mortuary is entrusted with these arrangements.
