He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jon Wolfe; five sisters, Eunice Rae Wolfe, Velma Ruth Gaston, Dorothy Mae Atchison, Gladys Marie Keen, and Mildred Fern Hinkle. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Henry Jeanne Wolfe of Boyd; son, Steve Wolfe and wife, Sarah of Boyd; daughter, Noelle Holmes and husband, Rodney of Boyd; grandchild, Chris; two great-grandchildren, Lane and Dakota; and brother, George Wolfe of Boyd;
