Peacefully, on Thursday May 3, 2001 with his family by his side, Meinrad passed away at the age of 82 years at Foyer Notre Dame.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 58 years, Ida (Teffaine) two sons, Real (Irene), Guy (Diane) one daughter Colette (Rene) Comte; nine grandchildren, Lisa, Nadine and Daniel Roch, Marc Comte, Nicole Comte (Patrick Talbot), Chantal (Daniel) Berard, Joey Comte, Jolyne and Rejean Roch, and four great-grandchildren, Colin and Kayla Talbot, Jona and Jayden Berard.
Meinrad will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him and will hold a special place in our hearts forever.
Prayers for family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Roman Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 7 with Father Raymond Bremaud officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Centre de Sante Notre Dame, Box 190, Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB, R0G 1M0.
