Gordon Ray Blair, 83, of Troutville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 13, 2021.
He loved his antique cars and was a member of the Star City Cruisers. Gordon was a member of Belmont Christian Church and retired from GE with 38 years of service.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Barbara Blair; two sons and one daughter, Randy Blair and wife, Victoria, Jason Blair, Fran Gamble; four grandchildren, Will Gamble, Grayson Blair, Anna Blair, Mikayla Blair; sisters, Gertrude Trussler, Nannie Bell Aliff; nephew, Bill Tuck; and several other nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Belmont Christian Church with Pastor Terry Brace and Dr. David Walton officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at Oakey's East Chapel.
