A Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2021, at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. David Mackens officiating.
Bobby entered this life on April 29, 1943, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Lee and Annie Gullett Smithey. He was a graduate of Clarksville High School and a Veteran of The United States Army. Bobby loved his dogs and horses and was formerly a motorcycle mechanic for Appleton's Harley Davidson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Lovelace and Judy Lee.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca (Beki) Ryan Smithey; daughters, Carrie Johanson, LeAnn Smithey, and Sherry Smithey; siblings, Betty (James) Corlew, and Truman (Juanita) Smithey; nephew, Sean Smithey (Brad Byers), and six grandchildren. Bobby also leaves behind special friends, Wayne Chester and Mildred Shepherd.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Clarksville Humane Society.
