Steven C. Lane, 66, of Delphi, passed away Thursday-November 11, 2021 at 12:39am, at Allison Pointe Healthcare Center in Indianapolis. He had been a resident there since September.

He was born May 25, 1955 in Lafayette, IN, to the late William "Bill" & Jenny Lane. Steve attended the Wabash Center in Lafayette. He was active with the Lafayette Chapter of A.R.C., enjoyed professional wrestling, fishing, and watching old TV Westerns. He was Purdue's greatest fan, and rooted for the Indianapolis Colts, and liked to watch NASCAR. Steve loved the holiday's, especially Thanksgiving & Christmas. Being with his extended family and friends, sharing a meal, and just being together.

Surviving are his longtime caregivers and special friends with whom he made his home, Tammy & Roy Mitchell of Delphi, and Doug & Charolette Reed of rural Brookston. a sister Barb Lane of West Lafayette, and a brother Mich Lane of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by brother's and sister's.

Services: visitation will be Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm at Abbott Funeral Home, Inc., Delphi. His funeral service will be there Thursday at 1pm, Pastor Donnie Ely officiating.
