Born in Orlando, Florida on October 26, 1954, he was a son of the late James William Morris and Brennetta Largent Morris, who survives. Along with his wife, he owned and operated an insurance claims adjusting company. He was a faithful member of Refuge Christian Fellowship, enjoyed fishing and was a dedicated Christian family man.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Kathy Sue Grant Morris; children, Kelli Percy (husband, Jason) and Kyle Morris (wife, Rebekah); grandchildren, Silas, Caleb, Abby, Mason, Liam, Hadley, Rowan and Emerson; siblings, Debbie Council (Mike), Jimmy Morris and Craig Morris (wife, Jean); as well as several nieces and nephews.
