James Wesley "Wes" Thomason, Sr., age 63 of Magnet Cove passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at his home. He was born October 8, 1958 in Bell Gardens, California. Wes was a journeyman electrician for Gilliam Electric in Hot Springs, of the Baptist faith, and loved to paint and restore old cars and trucks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bradley & Marilyn Luker Thomason; daughter, Amanda Villars, and two sisters, Wanda Villars and Denise Thomason.

Survivors are his wife of 30 years, Carol Lynn Thomason, sons, James Wesley Thomason Jr., of Magnet Cove, Jonathan Beverlin of Hot Springs, Jason Harris of Bismarck, and Albert Williams III of Marianna, daughters, Margie Williams of Bismarck, Mimi Williams, Alberta Williams, and Patricia Williams, Brothers, Bradley Thomason, David Thomason (Mel) all of Vilonia, Billy Thomason (Sharon) of Hot Springs, Sister Judy Montgomery (Scott) of Hot Springs, grandchildren, James Wesley III, Desiree, Cheyenne, Deviangel, Shelbi, Sterling, Sara, Nathaniel, Alexander, Sky, Eliana, Jace, Zane, Pate, Mystikal, Rosalyn and Hunter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
