Mildred married William Franklin Yates on July 30, 1945 in Sharon Springs, Kansas.

Mildred was known by many different identities, including Sis, Millie, Gram, Mom, Miss Mildred and most recently "Mil". She was a cheerleader in high school, had a successful career at K-Mart and received an award from Sandalwood Manor for "Resident of the Month".

She was loved and respected and had a special bond with so many people throughout her long life. She will be missed for her strength, love of family, her beautiful smile and kind heart.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, Roscoe Virgil Jr., her husband, her sister, Evelyn Tilton, her brother, Raymond Bush, her grandson, Michael Garcia, and her son-in-law, Bernie Garcia.

Mildred is survived by daughter, her great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
