Child of William Arthur & Viola (BEACH) CHENOWETH.

Original burial entry in sexton's ledger book shows: a child of W. A. CHENOWETH was stillborn in Georgia and was buried 04 JUN 1881 in Section A, Lot 119, as a resident of Columbus, Georgia (so probably born/died there). The sexton was Abraham ODOM.

This grave is probably not identifiably marked. There doesn't seem to be an owner of record for Lot 119 in the Letter A Addition. Others reported to be in city A-119 have marked graves in Lot 81 of Section G in Dolores Autry's "Historic Linwood Cemetery" book (edited by Lea Dowd et al.), Volume 2; this lot also appears to take in all or part of city A-115, A-117 and A-120. Autry G-87 is part of this lot also, although it's treated as a separate lot in her book. Surnames and maiden names in Autry G-81 & G-87 include BEACH, DOZIER, HUFF, and NEUFFER. The parents are buried in a sublot, designated G-82 by Autry. The father is reported to be in the Old Cemetery (which is a mistake -- these are lots on the north side of the Old Cemetery), and the mother is reported to be in city A-117.
