DAVID'S OBITUARY
David William Hawkins, age 67, of Decatur, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at CHI Memorial Hospital, in Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joni Hawkins; and father, Roy Gaines Hawkins.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Hawkins; sons and daughter-in-law, David Hawkins, Jr., Jimmy and Amanda Hawkins; step-son, Chad Biggs; grandchildren, Lee Hawkins, Chy Hawkins, Rayleigh Hawkins, Sammantha Smith and her husband Johnny; great grandchildren, Jakari Smith and Emerson Smith; mother, Margaret Hawkins; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara Hawkins and Leo Denney, Dina Hawkins, Brenda and Lee Crumbley, Linda Hawkins, Christy and Shawn Reese, Louise Hawkins; brothers and sister-in-law, Gus Hawkins, Jerry and Karen Hawkins; several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Sunday, Hopewell Springs Cemetery, with Rev. Darrell Grady and Minister Brenda Crumbley officiating. Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
