George F. Wright, age 83, went on to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital surrounded by loving family and friends. Born in Parkersburg, West Va. May 29, 1929 the son of Harry and Margaret Wright. Retired U.S. Air Force and Motorist Mutual Insurance. Survived by nieces, Jennifer Sole, Julie Vincent, Jill Damm; great-nieces and nephews, Christina Sole, Adam Vincent, Emily Vincent, Kieran Damm, Taryn Damm; great-great-nephew, Connor Sole; special friends, Mitch and Shell Wilson; nieces, nephews, many very special friends and his loving companion "The Boss". Preceded in death by his parents, his loving sister and brother-in-law Peg and Paul McGiveren, special friend Clyde Broach, sister Mary Catherine Nestor, brothers James and William Wright and his loving companions Fritz, Sadie and Zoe. GG will be greatly missed by all knew him as he touched our hearts and our lives as only he could. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. A Celebration of George's life and a Funeral Service will be Saturday 12Noon at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. BROAD ST., where friends may call after 10 a.m. Private Burial.
