Widow of Frank Smith, Jr., she was born in Cherokee County, S.C. and was a daughter of the late Curtis and Minnie Anderson Smith.
She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and a retired employee of Spring City Knitting.
She was predeceased by 5 children, John Frank Smith, Dorothy McDowell, Cephus Thompson, Diana Smith, and Denise Clark; sisters, Josephine James and Betty Jo Sims.
She leaves to cherish loving memories: 3 sons, Michael M. Smith, of Charlotte, N.C., Joseph B. Smith and Calvin Davidson, of the home; 3 daughters, Lorraine Hoey, of Gaffney, Nicole S. Johnson (Leroy), of Blacksburg, S.C., Tracy S. Reid (Timothy), of Norfork, Va.; a brother, Curtis Mc- Cluney, Jr., sisters-in-law, Olivia Smith and Geraldine Buchanan; nieces, Leevon Littlejohn and Anita Smith; of Gaffney; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Service will be Sunday, 3:00 p.m., in The Gilmore Mortuary Chapel with Brother Brian Phifer officiating.
