John Randall (Randy) Perry, 64, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 7, 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida. Randy was born in Jacksonville Florida on September 5, 1957 to the late John Jacob Perry, Jr, and Betty Sue Moore Perry. He was preceded in death by his brother Faron Owen Perry. Randy is survived by his 2 sisters Karon Sherington (Darrel) and Sharon Johnson (Stanley). He is preceded in death by his daughter Lisa Marie Perry, and is survived by Grandson Cody Cogburn, his Bonus daughter, Carrie Oakley (Ray), his bonus granddaughters Madison and Sydney Oakley, and bonus Grandson Michael Oakley. His is survived by his nieces and nephews, Justin Perry, Jennifer Perry, Wesley Whitfield (Kelsey), Ashlei Culpepper (Timmy), Drayden Howell (Rebecca), Lacy Howell, as well as many great nieces and nephews that loved him very much. Randy served in the Marines and was proud to be a Veteran. He loved Bass Fishing and was named THE KING of Perrys Ditch Fishing Team. Randy loved going to his Grandson's and nephews' football and basketball games. He loved being down at the goal posts watching those boys. He also loved Nascar. Funeral services are scheduled 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 11th at Corey Kerlin Funeral Home, Rowe Ave. with a visitation 1 hour prior. The Rev. Winson Butler will be officiating. The interment will follow the service at Dinsmore Cemetery on Old Kings Rd North. followed by a reception at Dinsmore Baptist Church 10500 Old Kings Rd. 32219.
