Actor. Born Owen John Scott in Watford, England, he was a comic actor and one of the most popular performers on British television in the 1960s to 1990s. After serving in the Royal Navy during World War II, he was contracted by the BBC to appear on a radio shows with comedian Hugh Lloyd which led to popular TV comedy "Hugh and I". He went on to be a regular on TV comedy series such as "Happy Ever After", "Son of the Bride", "Scott On", Danger Mouse" and "Terry and June", which ran for 14 years. On the London stage he starred in shows such as "A Bed Full of Foreigners", "The Mating Game", "Run For Your Wife" and also toured in the Middle East. He died at the age of 67 in Surry, England.
