Warren Stow Hall
February 2, 1926 - November 10, 2021

Obituary for Warren Stow Hall
Warren Stow Hall passed away during the early morning hours of November 10, 2021.

Warren was born to Warren Payne Stow Hall and Carry (Stockdale) Hall on Ground Hog's Day, 1926. Not to be outdone, his brother, Raymond, was born on Halloween a few years later.

Warren enlisted in the United States Navy in 1943 and was an Aviation Cadet taking pilot training as WWII ended. Subsequently, he attended Michigan State University and received a Bachelors Degree in chemical engineering.

Warren married Joanne Ruth Allum in 1946 and they remained together for 71 years.

Warren and Joanne met at a high school football game in Toledo, Ohio. The legend goes that a streaming roll of toilet tissue landed on Joanne so Warren went to apologize for his lousy aim with the story that he was trying for the goal posts.

Soon after their marriage, they began to grow their family. Ruth, Raymond, Janet and Evan were to call him Dad. Later he became Grandpa to Tracy and David Davidson; and Scott, Matthew, Jeremy and Michael Hall.

Warren worked for Phillips Petroleum in a variety of managerial roles until he took early retirement about 1980. He then focused his attention on stock market investments.

Joanne passed away in 2017.

Warren was always sociable and his signature greeting was "Give me four and a half!" which owed to having lost half of a finger on his right hand to a busy lawnmower blade.

He played golf for over fifty years "claiming" several hole-in-ones. He sang baritone in a barbershop quartet and became an accomplished amateur photographer.

Graveside services will be held at Calvary Cemetery on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 1:00pm. Presiding will be The Reverend Keith Fallis of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Sapulpa. Arrangements provided by Fitzgerald's Funeral Home of Tulsa.
