Obituary of Michael "Eric" Bryant
Funeral Service for Mr. Michael 'Eric' Bryant, 35 of Jacksonville, will be at 11 am on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Rev. Dwain Harper will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 am prior to the service. Mr. Bryant is survived by his mother, Donna Mullinax and father, Eddie Bryant (Jackie); sister, Kara Burgess (Nic); nieces, Holland Burgess and Amelia Burgess; grandmother, Pat McMinn; many cousins, aunts and uncles.
He is preceded by his grandfathers, Ray McMinn and Clyde Bryant; grandmother, Sue Bryant.
Pallbearers will be Nic Burgess, Matt McCullars, Tom Gale, Johnny Arms, James Markham and Brady Waddell. Honorary pallbearers will be uncles and cousins.
Eric graduated from Weaver High School in 2004. While there, his wrestling team won five state championships, and he was an individual state champion. He enjoyed spending time on the farm with his grandmother and he enjoyed restoring cars. His favorite pastime was being the best and most doting uncle to his niece Holland.
