Sam Watts, 74, of Peachtree City, Georgia passed away November 10, 2021. He was born on April 27, 1947, in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Lloyd and Edith Watts.

Sam spent several years in his hometown until his airline family started moving around the country to such places as Huntsville, New York and Miami. Because of this, he also attended many different schools which included Miami Dade Junior College, and the University of Florida. In 1970 Sam was drafted into the United States Army and served his country proudly until 1976. He started his airline career in Miami with Eastern Airlines, later founded Southeastern Airlines, then joined Atlantic Southeast where he spent most of his career and retired in 2008. He enjoyed being with his family, friends, and most of all his grandchildren. Sam married the love of his life in 1970, his adoring wife Mary. They received their best gift when they adopted their daughter Amy in 1976.
