Thelma M. Domin, 88, of 14 Worthington Ave. passed away the afternoon of March 22, 2017, with her family by her side. Thelma was born May 16, 1928, in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late Regis Y. and Antoinette Arnold Crable. Thelma was married to Frank G. Domin. He survives at home. They were married for 67 years. Mrs. Domin was Roman Catholic and a member of Mary, Mother of Hope Parish. Thelma was a graduate of Union High School, class of 1946. Mrs. Domin will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Thelma enjoyed reading, time spent with her caregivers from Three Rivers Hospice, and watching game shows. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband Frank, she is survived by her three children, Cathy J. Hoover, Chuck (Suzanne) Domin and Becky Domin, all of New Castle; three grandchildren, Terri Hoover, Robert Hoover and Jennifer Miller; and five great-grandchildren, Devin Miller, Tiffany Miller, Samantha Miller, Andrew Hoover and Elizabeth Hoover. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edgar Crable; and four sisters, Eileen Dudo, Inabelle McCormick, Florence DeVincentis and Donna Schaffer. Calling hours are 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2017, at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 S. Mill St., New Castle. The family would like everyone to meet at Mary, Mother of Hope Parish on Saturday morning, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. The Rev. Frank D. Almade, pastor of Mary, Mother of Hope Parish, will officiate. Following Mass, a procession will leave from the church to Madonna Cemetery for the Rite of Committal and burial.
