Predeceased by her loving husband of 48 years, Christian Francis Holland, Carole is survived by her children Rebecca Szabo and husband Joe, Jesse Holland and wife Wendy; three cherished grandchildren Zachary, Rhiannon, and Lexie; mother Zelma Perkins; brother Tim Perkins and wife Sandy; sister Cynthia Savage; nephew Ian Savage and wife Emily; partner Steven Wood; her loving church family and countless friends, neighbors, and supporters.
Carole was a multitalented artist, free thinker, and the original cake boss. She loved rug hooking, sewing, painting, a good cup of coffee and most importantly, being surrounded by her friends and loved ones. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Maine Cancer Foundation at mainecancer.org. In accordance with Carole's wishes, private arrangements have been entrusted to Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service in Buxton, ME.
