Rebecca "Becky" (Webster) Lunsford, 66, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday morning, September 5, 2017 at her residence.
Becky was born on November 11, 1950 in Sandusky, OH to P.A. and Maxine (McKinney) Webster.
Becky was a 1969 graduate of Sandusky High School and retired from Erie County Offices as a custodian in 2014 after many years of service. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, music, scratch off tickets, working on the inside and outside of her home and spending time with her family and friends. She loved having fun and acting silly.
Becky is survived by her daughter, Suzie (Brian) Sowards of Margaretta Township; son, Ronnie Lunsford Jr. of Sandusky; five grandchildren, Kristy, Karrie and Kelsey Stacy, Kameron Sowards and Ronnie Lunsford III; three great-grandchildren, Aniyah, Arianna and Elliot; mother, Maxine; sisters, Jacky (Gerald) Ballard of Castalia; brothers, Max (Becky) of Huron, David (Kathy) and William "Butchie" (Carol) Webster both of Castalia; good friend, Dave Conway and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her father, P.A., Becky is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Sr., on May 22, 2016; granddaughter, Kaylee Sowards and sister, Jeanette Herhold.
Friends may call Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 9:00 am until the time of funeral services at 10:30 am at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Ken Hiser will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
