Daniel Brown, 80, a resident of Troy, died November 10, 2021 at Jackson-Madison Co. Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday at Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads. Rev. Paul Cagle will be officiating.

Burial will follow with military honors.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mr. Brown was born on August 9, 1941 in Loveland, OH to the late William Stanley and Loretta (Robbins) Brown.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator. On June 19, 1967, he married Barbara James. She survives.

He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Union City.

Mr. Brown is also survived by 2 sons; Daniel (Anne) Brown of Dresden, Aaron Brown of Killean, AL, a daughter; Rachel (Mattew) Bailey of Union City, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters; Odena Packard of Hamilton, AL, Yvonne (Paul) Redmond of New Carlisle, OH, Nancy Beach of North Carolina, and several nieces and nephews.

He is also preceded in death by 3 brothers; Stanley, Richard , and Ronal Brown, and 2 sisters; Naomi McCrea and Dorla Freeman.
